 Trim

Use these settings to subsequently trim a Motion Source’s range, i.e., to exclude frames from the beginning or end of a Motion Clip’s animation.

Δ Start

Defines the number of frames that should be excluded from the beginning of a Motion Clip’s animation for a given Motion Source.

Δ End

Defines the number of frames that should be excluded from the end a Motion Clip’s animation for a given Motion Source.

Pivot

A Pivot object can be dragged into this field with which a Motion Clip can be moved, scaled or rotated interactively in the Viewport. Details about working with Pivot objects can be found here.

Create Pivot

Creates a new Pivot object that will automatically be placed into the aforementioned Pivot field. The Pivot object will be created at the coordinates of the object for which the Motion Source was created.

Create Keyframed Pivot

Clicking this button will create a Pivot object as well as Keyframes for that Pivot object’s position and rotation.

Snap to Start Time

Clicking on this button will move the Pivot object defined in the Pivot field to the same location as the object for which the Motion Source was created, at frame 0 of the animation.

Snap to Actual Time

Clicking this button will transfer the current position of the object for which the Motion Source was created to the Pivot object defined in the Pivot field. The Pivot object’s rotation and scale will be set to null.

Snap to End Time

Has the same effect as the Snap to Start Time function, except that the Pivot object defined in the Pivot field will be moved to the same location as the object for which the Motion Source was created, at the last frame of the animation.

Timing

This spline curve lets you change the timing of the recorded animation. Note that this spline curve only affects the animation temporally and will not affect any loops that have been defined. If a value greater than 0 has been set for the Loops value, the modified Timing value will change accordingly with each loop.
