The Subdivision Factor group contains settings to raise or lower the subdivision for any object within the group.
The Curve value influences the subdivision of curves. Surface U and Surface V affects the subdivision of surfaces. By clicking Apply the changes made will be put into effect.
The Type Selection group helps select specific objects of a group. To get a better feel for these functions, assign the corresponding IGES group its own locked Attribute Manager as a separate dialog window. This gives you access to the functionality in the dialog window, independent of which object is selected in the Object Manager.
You can determine which type of object you want to select with the Type and Subtype buttons. For Subtype, select a subtype that can be selected using one of the buttons below.
Clicking Deselect, Select Additionally or Select Only lets you select objects accordingly.
The Conversions group lets you convert a group‘s Generator objects to polygon objects. Convert to Polygons converts each object separately. Convert to Arranged Polygons creates a polygon object for each child group. Convert to One Object creates a single polygon object from all objects.
