CineMan

The CineMan render settings need to be installed and active in order to render using RenderMan® renderer. The CineMan render settings can be added, enabled or disabled using the "Use RenderMan® renderer” button, located in the Cinema 4D main menu under Render / CineMan (alternatively in the Render Settings’ "General" menu).

The CineMan Render settings contain all rendering options that cannot be obtained from Cinema 4D’s own render settings. Almost all renderers have identical settings (don’t be surprised if every now and then parameters are described that are not available to you. This will simply be a parameter of another renderer). If a particular renderer contains different or additional settings, these will be described accordingly. More information about each setting can be found in the RenderMan® renderer specifications document in your renderer’s user manual.

Tip:
Note that not all terminology that is also used for external render engines (and their documentation) has not been translated. Many parameters in Cinema 4D simply mirror render parameters that are described in these render engines’ documentation.
