A Working Example of Subdivision Surfaces Modeling

In the following example we will demonstrate several typical steps taken when working with Generator objects. We will use several types of polygon tools in the process. If you haven’t had a lot of opportunity to work the various polygon tools you may want to read up about them in the polygon tools tutorial to get up to speed.

In our example we will model a designer chair that will primarily be made up of an open sphere shape with an upholstered interior.
