The XPresso tutorials will introduce you to a world of logic and automation …
Expressions let you easily define dependencies between object properties - or put differently: a scene can be automated using rules. For example, if object A executes action B then object C will execute action D. MAXON developed XPresso so you don’t have to manually type such codes. XPresso offers a simple interface with which Expressions can be created without having to manually type commands or scripts.
The following chapter offers an easy-to-understand introduction to XPresso. We will first take a general look at the XPresso system and then work through a few basic example setups. This will give you an idea of how XPresso works. Once you have mastered these basic exercises - which is important when learning XPresso - you will be motivated to delve deeper into this system of Expressions.
