MoGraph Color Shader
There are three methods with which to color clones:
- A material is not applied: Clones can be colored using the settings available for the Cloners (Transform tab) or Effectors/Fields.
- If you assign a material to the Cloner object itself (the entire clone conglomerate has a single texture, except the UVW projection) or the cloned object (all clones have the identical texture). No color effects of Effectors or Fields will have an effect. This is what is shown at the bottom right.
- Assign a material using the MoGraph Color shader to the Cloner object. The MoGraph Color shader samples colors per clone with the help of Effectors and Fields. This is shown at the bottom left.
