MoInstance
An animated MoInstance object can look into its past for an adjustable time (measured in frames of the animation) and generate these states as instances. These instances in turn are normal clones that work with all effectors (the Step effector is particularly useful here).
In the following scene, a Cube was cloned and animated in a radial Cloner. A MoInstance object generates instances from the temporal Cube states, which are scaled by a Step effector. In addition, a Tracer object acts and creates splines from the cube trajectories:
Note:Instances are only displayed when opening a scene if the instance object is baked (see The Cache Tag) was. Strange effects can also occur in other respects (e.g. blurring between frames), in such cases it always helps to bake the clone-generating object.
