Exclusion
This functionality is largely equivalent to the include/exclude list of the Render Tag in Cinema 4D.
These options can be used to define the display of other objects on the surface of the object assigned with the tag. For example, other objects in the Objects list can be removed from the surface reflection of the object.
Enable this option to control the appearance of other objects on the surface of the tagged object.
This mode refers to the following Objects list. In Exclude mode, the listed objects are removed from the reflection and refraction of the object.
In Include mode, this effect is reversed. All other objects that are not in the list are then removed from the reflection and refraction of the object
This list can be filled by drag&drop from the Object Manager. It depends on the Mode setting, if the listed objects are then excluded or included from reflections and refractions on the object, that has the Redshift Object tag.
Behind each list entry there are three icons that can be switched on and off. The first icon controls the refractions and the second icon stands for reflections. The third icon activates or deactivates the hierachy of grouped objects. If active, all grouped objects of the listed objects are also excluded or included in the reflection/refractions.
