# Break Phong Shading

Phong shading is broken for the selected edges. The [Phong tag's](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/TPHONG.html.md) **Angle Limit** option will be enabled automatically if it in not already enabled.

This effect can be created using the [Normalen-Bearbeiten-Managers](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/Normal_Editing_Manager.html.md) (in particular the Hard command) function.
