It procedurally generates cracked ground, flagstone and mosaic patterns — with per-stone color randomization and adjustable gaps — no texture files needed. | | | | | --- | --- | --- | | ![Image: Saul_Pavement.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/_REDSHIFT_/Resources/Images/Saul_Pavement.jpg) | ![Image: Pavement_Example_01_pic.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/_REDSHIFT_/Resources/Images/Pavement_Example_01_pic.jpg) | ![Image: Pavement_Example_02_pic.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/_REDSHIFT_/Resources/Images/Pavement_Example_02_pic.jpg) | The pavement shader is a procedurally driven texture that can be used to generate fine detail for surfaces like cracked pavement, flagstone mosaic patterns and more. By default it is set up to create a desert-like cracked and stoney surface. Artists can randomize the color of each stone with a gradient, and adjust the size, color and crookedness of gaps.
