Use it to wrap regular grid patterns — rivet arrays, tiles, greebles — onto curved surfaces while keeping the even spacing of a flat grid. This distribution can be loaded directly via the **Browse** button of a [Cloner Bbject](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/OMOGRAPH_CLONER.html.md) if the *Cloner* object uses the *Advanced* mode. Copies are placed in a regular grid, which is then projected onto the surface of an assigned object. The copies can also be aligned relative to this surface.\ The object to be projected onto must be grouped as a child of the distribution in the *Object Manager*. ![Image: 2026-0_Distribution_Projection_01.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2026-0_Distribution_Projection_01.png)\ Here, cones were cloned and projected onto a landscape using various methods.
