It converts the edge flow of any geometry into woven spline patterns, letting you render wicker, textiles or carbon-fiber looks directly — without modeling real fabric geometry. > **Tip:** Note:There are also *Cineversity* videos for these special Node capsules, which demonstrate their practical use. Follow [this link](https://cineversity.maxon.net/en/series/cinema-4d-nodal-capsules) to the corresponding overview page. This capsule can reproduce various fabric patterns with splines that are oriented to the edges of an assigned geometry. It is also possible to use the asset directly in the *Object Manager*, where you simply have to subordinate the geometry that is to be converted to a fabric. The output splines can also be rendered directly by assigning a [Redshift Object Tag](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/TRSOBJECT.html.md) to the capsule, for example, without having to create real polygon geometry first.\ The following illustration shows an example of this, where only a basic *Sphere* object has been assigned. ![Image: 2025-3_Nodes_Weave_Generator_01.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2025-3_Nodes_Weave_Generator_01.png)
