It hangs physically plausible sagging curves between spline points, which makes power lines, chains, garlands or drooping cables believable without any simulation. > **Tip:** Note:There are also *Cineversity* videos for these special Node capsules, which demonstrate their practical use. Follow [this link](https://cineversity.maxon.net/en/series/cinema-4d-nodal-capsules) to the corresponding overview page. ![Image: 2024-1_Asset_Cantenary_Spline_Example_01.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2024-1_Asset_Cantenary_Spline_Example_01.png)\ The sagging bands on this tree structure were created using the Catenary Spline Modifier. This asset can be used to create sagging spline curves between the points of a spline geometry. This can be used, for example, to model power lines or sagging hoses and cables. From version 2025.2, this asset capsule is also available directly as an object via the familiar Deformer menu within the C4D layout, so that it can be used directly in the *Object Manager* as a child of a spline.
