# Cylinder Field

> This page describes the **Cylinder Field** in **Cinema 4D**. It masks effects within a cylindrical shape — a natural choice for tube- or column-shaped influence zones in Field-driven setups.

This Field is a geometric Field and restricts/masks its effect using its cylindrical shape, which can be blended with other Fields and Modifier Layers in the respective Field lists (e.g., for Effectors or Deformers).
