Leave this field left empty if all scene objects that are affected by Dynamics that lie in close proximity to the position defined in the **Point** port should be ascertained. ### Exclude Object Parameter ID: `DYNAMICS_PROXIMITY_NODE_EXCLUDE_OBJECT` If the above **Object** field is empty, an object can be dragged into this field if you want to exclude it from the search. ### Mode Parameter ID: `DYNAMICS_PROXIMITY_NODE_MODE` The **Mode** defines which points of an object should be included for ascertaining the object point nearest to the position defined in the **Point** port. - Center: only the object origin - Bounding Box: all points on the bounding box’ surface - Shape: the shape defined in the [Shape](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/DYNRIGIDBODYTAG-RIGID_BODY_GROUP_COLLISION.html.md) tag will be used. If a simplified replacement shape is used the nearest point can be continuously calculated on such a surface. For the shapes Static Mesh, Moving Mesh or Soft Bodies in general, only real object points will be included. In such cases a point's index number can be output directly.
