It tests two geometries for intersection — with tolerances and exact contact points — procedural collision checks without a simulation. This function can be used to check two geometries for collision. Various calculation methods are available which, among other things, also allow the use of a tolerance or can calculate the exact points of contact of a collision. ![Image: 046025.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/046025.jpg)\ In this example, a cube and a sphere are checked for collision. The touch surface of the cube is automatically colored red and a sphere, also red, is placed at the touch point between the objects.
