It repositions an object's axis within its bounding box like the Center Axis tool — and, used as a capsule, can move geometry while keeping the axis in place. This node can reposition the axis of a geometry within its bounding box. The function can also be used in the same way as the classic [Center Axis tool](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/11100.html.md). When using this asset in the *Object Manager* under a basic object, the geometry can also be moved without repositioning its axis system at the same time. ![Image: R25_GeometryAxis.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/R25_GeometryAxis.jpg)\ The option to place the axis system individually makes it possible to place even randomly scaled objects on a plane, for example.
