Like its Mesh-menu namesake it repositions selected components along chosen axes — usable as a capsule in the Object Manager or in the Node Editor. This function is similar to the command of the same name in the **Mesh menu** and allows selected points, edges or polygons to be repositioned along individual axis directions. As this is a capsule asset, this Node can be used both in the *Node Editor* and directly under an object in the *Object Manager*. ![Image: 2025-0_Nodes_SetPointsValue_01.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2025-0_Nodes_SetPointsValue_01.png)\ On the left you can see the original landscape, on the right the same landscape after its point positions have been rasterized in the X and Y directions.
