Such a CSV file could then look like this, for example: Toy; Size; Color\ Car; 10,5; #FF0000\ Bike; 5; #00FF00\ Scooter; 20; #0000FF The optional header defines here the names for the columns and the data contained in them ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ CSV Settings ### Delimiter Mode Parameter ID: `INPORT_IMMHOR3CIB2JYWYYUGIBSV` The values in a CSV file are often separated by punctuation, such as commas, a semicolon, tabs, or colons. If you do not know which character was used to separate the values, you can select "Automatic". Otherwise, the separator can also be selected directly in the selection list. If a delimiter not listed here is used, activate the "Own" setting and then enter the delimiter in the field for "Delimiter". ### Delimiter Parameter ID: `INPORT_A_KZL1ZRIVGP6LB9RESLFU` If you use the **separator mode** "Own", the separator used in the file can be entered here. ### First Row as Header Parameter ID: `INPORT_IDEFGGN_FT_N2CCXOOSR3U` As a rule, the structure of a CSV file corresponds to a table, where the first line of the file contains the names of the columns. If your file does not use names in the first line, but starts there directly with the records of the numerical values, disable this option. The records can then also be assigned correctly via their order (Mode: Index). ### Row Limit Parameter ID: `INPORT_XAUP7NICC9ANXFQACBDCER` · Range: [0..2147483647] It may happen that you do not want to read all the data, but perhaps only the first lines of data. Then enter the number of lines to be read here accordingly. The value 0 otherwise leads to the fact that always the entire file is read out. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Header ### Mode Parameter ID: `INPORT_B9KYUZ9WF5HUE6ZNJ_KO03` The first line of the file usually contains the names of the values sorted in the columns below. In the case of the bar chart, up to three numerical values per bar are possible, namely the name of the value, the color of the value and finally the actual numerical value. The label can be displayed next to each bar, for example. The color can be used to color the bar, the numerical value and the label. For this assignment of values to succeed, the Node needs some help from you. You have two modes available for this: - Index: In this mode you simply enter the digit of the column where the data, the labels and the colors are to be found. Note that the first column already has index number 0. - Header: As an alternative to defineing the index values, this mode can also be used to directly enter the strings that will be used in the header of the file for the data, the labels and the colors. ### Data Parameter ID: `INPORT_FY_QLHTUOTSNYK7OFJCSK0` · Range: [0..2147483647] ### Data Parameter ID: `INPORT_U9KJA7LJF9JTXDLJ_AHJ_2` In the "Index" **mode**, enter here the number of the column in which the numerical values for the bars are to be found. In the "Header" **mode**, enter here the name of the data column as it is used in the header of the file. ### Label Parameter ID: `INPORT_A_JCDQOAPJYOBFOAPJKDC0` · Range: [0..2147483647] ### Label Parameter ID: `INPORT_C7FKDCW1GNYGJ37RBB_94Y` In the "Index" **mode**, enter here the number of the column where the names for the bars are to be found. In the "Header" **mode**,, enter here the name of the designations column as it is used in the header of the file. ### Color Parameter ID: `INPORT_Q7BAGV0DJDJMAUW59ZRDW2` · Range: [0..2147483647] ### Color Parameter ID: `INPORT_PEYZYXC6L9XKZ3YNGO6D87` In the "Index" **mode**, enter here the number of the column in which the color values for the bars are to be found. The colors are expected in HEX code (e.g., #FF0000 for the color red). In the "Header" **mode**, enter here the name of the color column as it is used in the header of the file. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Sort & Filter ### Sorting Parameter ID: `INPORT_CKE4ALDCG9DJKWAE6ZWMYM` Activate this option if the order of the bars should not necessarily be identical with the order of the records in the file. You can then, for example, have the data sorted in ascending or descending amount size. ### Mode Parameter ID: `INPORT_WB4M96SNNFWQ2V4PDCA4SH` If Sort is active, select here whether the data should be displayed as bars sorted according to their numerical value "Ascending" or "Descending". ### Filtering Parameter ID: `INPORT_CO_AHL_AIRATSMQZXT1B3L` This option allows you to delete certain values from the display, e.g., if their value is below the **threshold**. Filtered records can also be grouped together under their own name if the **group** option is enabled. ### Mode Parameter ID: `INPORT_LUKZ6EJII1MJVQ9TBXMLXL` Select here the method to be used to check the values for filtering. You will find all the typical logical operations, such as "Equal to", "Not equal to", "Greater than", "Greater than equal to", "Less than" or "Less than equal to". ### Threshold Parameter ID: `INPORT_DD0_ZC9KLFHN8BVCILI7BJ` · Range: [-∞..+∞] This value is used in conjunction with the selected filter **mode**to check the records. A **threshold** value of 5 in the "Smaller than" **mode** will then cause the bars to values smaller than 5 to no longer be displayed. ### Group Parameter ID: `INPORT_BNIP0DPBBHHT07ABCRQZPI` Activate this option if you want to display the filtered out values under a new term with its own bar. All filtered out values are added to this. Think of it like the typical bar graphs of the percentages of elected parties, where, for example, all parties below the 5% hurdle are then combined in one bar and added there under the term "Other". ### Name Parameter ID: `INPORT_JOJFMGYQFBLMN54OZ7ASSM` If you want to display the filtered values as a **group**, enter the name for the bar that is to represent the added values of the filtered values here.
