The animation is done by scaling the symbols and texts at the respective locations and follows the order of the locations as they were entered as **focus elements** in the "Flight Route" section. Note that if you have defined place names multiple times due to stopover or open-jaw flights, multiple pin symbols and place names for such coordinates will also be displayed, which may then overlap during an animation. ### Overlap Parameter ID: `INPORT_AMHESITGNLURR_CR5EBZT5` · Range: [-∞..+∞%] This percentage value allows you to advance the animation of the next element in time. The scaling of the next elements then already starts when the animation of the current element is not yet finished. In the extreme case of an **overlap value of** 100%, the animation of all pins and place names occurs simultaneously. ### Pin Animation Parameter ID: `INPORT_CDLJHAVJABJGFF7DOPGGXE` In this section, the temporal behavior of the animation of the pins can be defined via a curve. This curve defines at the left edge the intensity of the animation when a pin still has an animation value of 0%. If here the curve already starts with a Y-value above 0, the pins are already seen at a **pin & label animation** with this size multiplier.\ Accordingly, the right edge of the curve reflects the scaling factor for the pins when reaching a 100% value for **Pin & Label Animation**. As usual on these spline controls, custom control points can be added by Ctrl/Ctrl-clicking on the curve. Control points on the curve can be selected, moved and also deleted again by clicking on them. Selected control points have tangents that can also be used to shape the spline curve. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Settings ### Tension Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_TENSION` · Range: [0..100%] By increasing this value, the spline curve behaves like a B-spline. This means that the curve no longer necessarily runs through all control points, but is extremely rounded. Tangents at the control points become less important for the curve as the **voltage** increases. ### Min Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_MIN` · Range: [XYZ ] ### Max Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_MAX` · Range: [XYZ ] These values can be used to define the minimum and maximum for the spline function graph. By default, the X values are between 0 and 1 and correspond to the possible animation values for the pins and the place names between 0% and 100%. On the vertical Y-axis are the scaling values, which by default are between 0 and 1. ### Link End Tangents Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LINKENDTANGENTS` This option matches the direction of the tangent at the last spline point with the tangent at the first spline point. ### Link End Positions Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LINKENDPOSITIONS` This option sets the Y-position of the last spline control point to the same height as the first spline control point of the curve. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Selected Objects ### Position X Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_POSITIONX` · Range: [-∞..+∞] ### Position Y Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_POSITIONY` · Range: [-∞..+∞] Here you will find the X and Y coordinate part of the currently selected spline point and you can also use these fields to enter precise values. ### Lock X Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LOCKX` ### Lock Y Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LOCKY` Locking prevents an unintentional change of the corresponding X or Y value at the selected point. ### Interpolation Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_INTERPOLATION` Details about using the color gradient can be found under [Color Gradient in Nodes](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/5822.html.md). ### Tangent Left Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_TANGENTLEFT` · Range: [XYZ ] ### Tangent Right Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_TANGENTRIGHT` · Range: [XYZ ] The length and slope of the tangents at a selected control point of the curve can be set and read with this. Alternatively, the tangents can also be moved directly along the curve with the mouse pointer. ### Break Tangent Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_BREAKTANGENT` By activating this option, the left and right tangents of a control point can be independently scaled and controlled in alignment. This function can also be activated by holding the Shift key when interactively editing a tangent page with the mouse. The complete independence of tangent length and direction can be partially restricted again despite this option if **Keep visible angle** is activated. Already broken tangents at a selected control point can be brought back to a line and to uniform lengths by right-clicking in the spline graph and selecting" Point Types > Soft". ### Keep Visual Angle Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_KEEPVISUALANGLE` This option is only available if **Break tangent** is active. In that case both tangents of a selected control point are kept on a straight line. Only the lengths of both tangents can then still be individually ### Lock Angle Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LOCKANGLE` In the active state, the direction of the tangents at the selected control point can no longer be changed. ### Lock Length Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_LOCKLENGTH` In the active state, the length of the tangents at the selected control point can no longer be changed. ### Label Animation Parameter ID: `INPORT_EOYQIYKXOZSNJF0HIM0D2C` This settings block repeats the parameters we just discussed for the animation of the pins, except that this time the animation of the place names is affected. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Settings ### Tension Parameter ID: `VARIADIC_PROPS_TENSION` · Range: [0..100%] By increasing this value, the spline curve behaves like a B-spline.
