It splits a mesh into its contiguous polygon groups as an array — so each island can be moved or processed individually. This Node processes mesh geometry and outputs all contiguous polygon groups individually in an array. This then allows, for example, each polygon group to be moved individually or to be processed with modeling functions.\ A geometry with separate polygon groups can be created, for example, by connecting individual geometry objects (see [Connect Node](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/NET_MAXON_NEUTRON_GEOMETRY_CONNECT_GEOMETRIES.html.md)).\ A comparable function for spline geometries can be found at the [Explode Spline Segments Node](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/html/NET_MAXON_NEUTRON_GEOMETRY_EXPLODE_SEGMENTS.html.md).
