# Insert Elements

> This page describes the newer **Insert Elements node** variant of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. It inserts values at arbitrary positions with automatic index shifting — a revised edition of the insertion node.

You can use this node to insert new values at any point in an array. The subsequent indices automatically increase accordingly.
