# Upper/lower case

> This page documents the **Upper/Lower Case node** of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. It converts strings to uppercase, lowercase or sentence case — text normalization for procedural typography and labels.

This Node can convert a string to lowercase, uppercase, or the normal mix with an uppercase letter at the beginning of a sentence followed by lowercase letters.
