# Switch

> This page documents the **Switch node** of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. An index selects which of any number of inputs is passed through — the multi-way selector of node logic.

This Node can be used to add any number of sequential inputs. The Index then determines which of the input values will be returned.
