It pulls particles toward itself like a gravitational center — useful for orbiting swarms, vortices or collecting particles at a target point. ![Image: 023783.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/023783.jpg)\ The Attractor forces particles to follow orbital paths. The Attractor represents a radially symmetrical gravitational force. This allows you to capture particles in a similar way to how the sun captures the individual planets, for example. It can also be used to create water swirls. Outside the Attractor, the particles move linearly again. # Example In this scene, the Attractor clumps the letters together: [Video: 2026](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2026-1_attractor_01_.mp4) [![Image: halvar.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/halvar.png)](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Scenes/2026-1_attractor_01_.c4d)
