# Capsule Object

> This page documents the **Capsule primitive** in **Cinema 4D**. It creates a cylinder with hemispherical caps — the base shape for pills, tanks or soft rounded limbs — fully parametric with radius, height and slice options.

This command creates a cylinder along the Y axis with hemispherical caps. Adjust the various properties to create all kinds of pill-shaped objects.

# Interactive editing

The capsule has two handles:

- Drag handle (1) to change the radius.

- Drag handle (2) to change the height.
