If this value is set higher than zero, a truncated cone is formed (center). If the top radius is equal to the bottom radius, you get a cylinder (right). ![Image: 001365.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/001365.jpg) ### Height Parameter ID: `PRIM_CONE_HEIGHT` · Range: [0..+∞m] This value defines the overall height of the cone. ### Height Segments Parameter ID: `PRIM_CONE_HSUB` · Range: [1..1000] Defines the number of subdivisions of the object in the lengthwise direction. ### Rotation Segments Parameter ID: `PRIM_CONE_SEG` · Range: [3..1000] Defines the number of subdivisions of the object along the circumference of its cross-section. The greater this value, the smoother the cone appears. ![Image: 001366.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/001366.jpg)\ From left to right: cone with Rotation Segments set to a low value (left), medium value (center) and high value (right). ### Orientation Parameter ID: `PRIM_AXIS` These options define the direction in which the object will "point". Using these options it is easier - and faster - to rotate the object (without rotating the object coordinate system as well).
