# Follow Spline

> This page covers the **Follow Spline modifier** of the particle system in **Cinema 4D**. It attracts particles to a spline or forces them along its course — steering streams through defined paths like logos, tubes or race tracks.

This function allows particles to be attracted by a spline or even forced to follow the course of a spline curve. The following video shows this effect, with the intensity of the attractive and subsequent forces also being animated.
