It deletes particles — typically filtered by an upstream Condition — for controlled cleanup, spatial trimming or ending streams at a defined event. You can use this *Modifier* to delete particles. To ensure that this happens in a targeted manner, a *Condition* can be added upstream, for example, with which only the particles to be deleted are sorted out. In the following example, a *Shader Field* has been combined with a *Condition* so that only those particles are deleted that lie on a white field of the *Tile Shader* used here at the Emitter. ![Image: 2024-4_Particles_Modifiers_Kill_01.png](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/2024-4_Particles_Modifiers_Kill_01.png)\ The particles that lie on a white field of a projected check pattern at the Emitter will automatically be deleted here.
