# Dynamic Interaction

> This page describes the **Dynamic Interaction mode** for hair in **Cinema 4D**. It previews the effect of hair dynamics directly in the viewport without playing the animation — letting you judge how gravity and forces settle a hairstyle instantly.

This setting allows the effects dynamics (or parts thereof) on the hair to be seen without having to play the animation.

Pressing the **Play Forwards / Backwards** buttons is then not necessary to see the effect of dynamics on the hair.
