# Amplify

> This page describes the **Amplify brush** for sculpting in **Cinema 4D**. It strengthens existing sculpted detail by exaggerating raised and lowered regions — useful for making subtle surface structure more pronounced late in a sculpt.

The **Amplify** brush can be used to amplify, raised or lower regions or to do both simultaneously. Existing shapes/details will be amplified.
