# Point Selection Tag

> This page documents the **Point Selection tag** in **Cinema 4D**. It stores saved point selections on an object — double-clicking restores them — so deformers, materials or tools can be restricted to exactly these points at any time.

To access commands for a selection tag, select the tag in the **Object Manager**. The commands appear in the **Attribute Manager**.

Double-clicking on the tag will switch to the respective element mode and will select the saved element.
