Different values result in completely different dispersions of stones." --- ## Shader Properties ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Dimensions ### Scale Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_SCALE` · Range: [0..+∞%] Adjust the overall size of the stones, including gaps. ### Seed Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_SEED` · Range: [0..2147483647] Defines the random dispersion of stones. Different values result in completely different dispersions of stones. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Gaps ### Width Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_GAP_SIZE` · Range: [1..100%] Defines the width of the gaps between stones. ### Soft Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_GAP_BLUR` · Range: [0..200%] Defines the smoothness of the stone edge. The protruding edge will be rounded. If you apply this shader in the **Bump** or **Displacement** channel you should use larger values than the default value. ### Crookedness Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_GAP_CROOKED_INTENSITY` · Range: [0..+∞%] With this setting you can more-or-less distort or vortex the surface structure. The following parameter lets you adjust how fine or rough this effect is. ### Crookedness Scale Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_GAP_CROOKED_SCALE` · Range: [0..+∞%] The larger the value the more spread out the effect will be; lower values will produce a more "busy" look. ![Image: subgroup.gif](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/subgroup.gif)\ Colors ### Stone Color Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_STONE` Each stone will have a slightly different color from the gradient. ### Rough Structure Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_STONE_STRUCT1` · Range: [0..100%] Gives the stones a light, rough surface structure. ### Fine Structure Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_STONE_STRUCT2` · Range: [0..100%] Gives the stones a light, fine surface structure. ### Gap Color Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_GAP` This gradient will be applied from the center of the gap to the edge of the gap. ### Grainy Gaps Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_GRAINYGAPS` · Range: [0..100%] Applies a light, fine noise color to the gaps. A value of 0 will disable this effect. ### Contrast Grain Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_GRAINYGAPS_MODE` If enabled, a homogenous, continuous noise will be applied to the gaps. This lets you simulate irregularly plastered gaps. ### Smudgy Color Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_SMUDGE` Depending on the **Smudgy Edges** value, a layer of dirt will be applied from the center of the gap to the center of the stone. The gradient defines the color of the "dirt". Dark colors are better suited for use with this parameter. ### Smudgy Edges Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_SMUDGYEDGES` · Range: [0..100%] Defines the degree to which the effect will fade out. ### Smudgy Edges Size Parameter ID: `PAVEMENT_COL_SMUDGYEDGES_SIZE` · Range: [0..100%] Defines the size of the effect from the center of the gaps in the direction of the center of the stone.
