## Node Properties

### Matrix Mode

Parameter ID: `GV_SPLINE_MODE`

Use this setting to define if positions should be displayed using the local or global coordinate system.

### Use Uniform Distribution

Parameter ID: `GV_SPLINE_USE_NATURAL`

Splines can be subdivided to varying degrees using numerous interpolation methods. This makes it possible, for example, to concentrate mid-points on curves, whereby linear segments on the same spline will contain to additional points. If an object should move with a constant velocity along a spline, the spline should be divided into even segments. In order to produce equal segments, activate the Use Natural Distribution setting, located in the **Attribute Manager**.

### Use All Segments

Parameter ID: `GV_SPLINE_ALL_SEGMENTS`

If Use All Segments is activated, the offset value will reflect the entire spline length, not only the selected segment(s). If the spline consists of only a single segment, no segment number must be defined at the corresponding input port. The first spline segment will be used by default.
