## Inputs

### Data Type

Parameter ID: `INPORT_VGMPRDE_FF_O3MQRNZMSSM`

Here you can select hte data type that you want to process within the Node and whose result you want to output. You can select from Float for float comma values, or from the vector types Color, Vector2d or Vector4d.

### Input

Parameter ID: `INPORT_FECBDBHFKFBNTLQBUZJYFP` · Range: [-∞..+∞]

Here you can pass the value to the Node that should be transformed and restricted to the output value range.

### Input Min

Parameter ID: `INPORT_OZGAHHPJGFFTNMCCRT348M` · Range: [-∞..+∞]

### Input Max

Parameter ID: `INPORT_AARJSNGSOHIPMRA84ZXFOL` · Range: [-∞..+∞]

These values can be used to restrict the permissible value range for the **Value** setting. If the input **Value** is less than the **Input Min** value, the **Input Min** value will automatically be used for the calculation. If the **Value** is greater than the **Input Max** value, the latter will be used. Values that lie between these minimum and maximum values will remain unchanged.

### Output Min

Parameter ID: `INPORT_XTRBEXJYMXYPT44FXBB0FP` · Range: [-∞..+∞]

### Output Max

Parameter ID: `INPORT_XJFG7BVQLRPSUIRAQNP6ZJ` · Range: [-∞..+∞]

These values define the value range that you want to receive at the Node's output. A rule of three calculation will take place from the **Value** relative to the range between **Output Min** and **Output Max**. For example, if the **Value** is 1/4 of the span between the Input Min and Input Max values, the Node will also output 1/4 of the span between the Output Min and Output Max values as a Result.

Since, contrary to the Range Mapper Node, the **Value** is restricted to the numeric range between the minimum and maximum input, the Result will in any case be a value within the span between Output Min and Output Max. Hence, no additional modulo calculation or interpolation will take place.
