Here you connect the geometry where the selection is to be created.
This signal is useful when linking different Nodes that should have equal hierarchical dependency on each other.
Here you can choose between Edges and Polygons, depending on the element type for which you want to get a selection. The following image shows an example of this. There you can see a simple plane with one edge extruded. This results in an invalid geometry in this area.
The left side of the figure represents an overlay of the polygon numbers, the right side represents the overlay of the point numbers.
In PolygonMode, the above geometry would generate a selection containing polygons number 4, 5 and 9, that is, all polygons containing the same edge.
In EdgeMode, you would get a selection with the edge between points 6 and 10 for this geometry.
Allows you to invert the calculated selection for output.
If you want to save the calculated selection, enter the name for it here. If the field remains empty, only an active selection is created.
