# Flight Path

> **Note:** **What is it about?**
>
> This page covers the **Flight Path node** of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. From origin and destination coordinates it computes an arced trajectory with adjustable altitude and planet radius — the curve behind flight-route graphics.

After entering longitude and latitude for an aircraft's origin and destination, the Node calculates a possible trajectory that takes into account a desired altitude and an individual earth radius.

This Node calculates a curve along a sphere, connecting two given positions on the surface.
