## Inputs

### Geometry

Parameter ID: `GEOMETRYIN`

Here you direct the geometry into the Node that you want to read out.

### Neighbor to

Parameter ID: `TOPOLOGYTYPE`

In this menu you select the element type whose neighbors you want to output. You can choose between the elements *Point* and *Edge.* Only when *Point* is selected, any element type between *Points*, *Edges* and *Polygons* can be selected via the **Neighbor Type menu**. If **Neighbor to** *Edge* is selected, the polygon indices adjacent to the edge are generally output.

### Neighbor Type

Parameter ID: `NEIGHBORTYPEPOINTS`

Here you select the element type to be searched. You can choose between *Points*, *Edges* and *Polygons*. This selection option is only available in conjunction with **Neighbor to** *Point*.

### Index

Parameter ID: `INDEX` · Range: [-2147483648..2147483647]

Each element of a geometry can be addressed by a unique index number. Therefore, here you define the index number of the point or edge whose neighborhood you want to search for points, edges or polygons, depending on the **Neighbor Type**. For edges you have to input a pair of point index numbers, a so called Tuple. For edges, pairs of point indices must always be specified, so-called Tuples.
