## Point (outputs)

## Position

The new position of the point currently output in the iteration is sent to this output within the *Points modifier group*. The connected geometry, or the geometry of the parent object if used in the *Object Manager*, is updated automatically.

## Normals

Depending on the configuration in the *Properties section* of the *Points modifier*, one or more outputs are available here within the *Points modifier group*, which can be used to save a new standard for the point currently output in the iteration. It is saved as a normal tag under the name that was entered in the *Properties section* of the Node and that is also used for the output.

## Vertex Color

Depending on the configuration in the *Properties section* of the *Points modifier*, one or more outputs are available here within the *Points modifier group*, which can be used to save a color and alpha value for the point currently output in the iteration. It is saved as a *Vertex Color tag* under the name that was entered in the *Properties section* of the Node and that is also used for the output.

## Vertex Map

Depending on the configuration in the *Properties section* of the *Points modifier*, one or more outputs are available here within the *Points modifier group*, which can be used to save weighting values between 0.0 and 1.0 for the point currently output in the iteration. It is saved as a *Vertex Map tag* under the name that was entered in the *Properties section* of the Node and that is also used for the output.
