# Polygon Bevel

> **Note:** **What is it about?**
>
> This page describes the **Polygon Bevel node** of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. It combines extrusion and inset in one step like the Bevel command in Polygon mode — classic paneling detail as a node.

This Node can be used to combine the extrusion and inner extrusion of polygons. This functionality reflects the use of the Bevel command or the Bevel Deformer in Polygon mode.

Polygons can be extruded and simultaneously scaled, e.g., to create chamfered protrusions, as in this example along the sphere's equatorial line.
