Slice
Since this Cone is a rotationally symmetrical shape, this option can be enabled to calculate only a section of the entire Cone. The angle area to be displayed can then be defined using the From / To value.
This angle value can be used to define the section of the Cone to be displayed. These values will only then be taken into consideration if the Slice option has been enabled.
If the Slice option is enabled, cut surfaces will be created within the Cone that will automatically be closed by the irregular triangles. Activating the Uniform Subdivision setting will fill these cut surfaces with quads whose edge length can be controlled using the Width value. The gaps between the uniform pattern on the quad surfaces and the edge of the cut surface will be closed with triangles. A uniform subdivision of the cut surfaces makes it possible, among other things, to generate more uniform deformations of the Cone in this region.
If Uniform Subdivision is enabled in conjunction with Section, the edge length of the quads that are used to close the cut surfaces on the Cone can be controlled.
