# Effector Op

> **Note:** **What is it about?**
>
> This page describes the **Effector Op node** of the Scene Nodes system in **Cinema 4D**. It links objects with transformations like those of Bend or Twist effectors — the connection point for effector logic in operator streams.

This Node creates a connection between an object and a transformation, e.g., as it would be calculated by a Bend or Twist Effector. This Node provides the required **Position** that, among other things, is required for an Effector Group to construct numerous Effectors.

The Effector Op can be used to deform geometry or to multiply distributions. Here, a grid distribution within a spherical field is moved via an Effector Op Node.
