## Inputs

### Selection

Parameter ID: `STRING`

Here you pass the string to the Node from which you want to separate a part.

### Start

Parameter ID: `START` · Range: [-2147483648..2147483647]

This numeric value defines the position of the first character within the string from which the string to be output should start. Note that the counting starts at 0 for the first character of the input **Text string**.

### Count

Parameter ID: `COUNT` · Range: [-2147483648..2147483647]

Defines the length of the triggered string. Starting from the **Start position** within the input string, the number of characters defined here will be counted and made available at the **Result output of** the Node. Example: The string "bcd" will then be output from the input string "abcdefg" with **Start** 1 and **Count** 3 at the Node.
