## Inputs

### Selection

Parameter ID: `STRING`

This is the original string to be shortened. Characters at the end of the string will be deleted.

### Count

Parameter ID: `COUNT` · Range: [-2147483648..2147483647]

Here you can define the number of characters you want to keep at the beginning of the string. With a **Count value of** 2, for example, only the first two characters will remain on the string. The remaining characters awill be removed. With the default value 0, all characters at the input **Text** will be deleted and nothing will be output.
