## Object Properties

### Inner Radius

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_IRAD` · Range: [0..+∞m]

### Outer Radius

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_ORAD` · Range: [0..+∞m]

Adjust these values to change the size and the wall thickness of the tube.

### Rotation Segments

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_SEG` · Range: [3.00..1000.00]

The number of subdivisions of the tube around its circumference. A large value means a smoother tube with more faces.

![Image: 001429.jpg](https://help.maxon.net/c4d/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/001429.jpg)\
Tubes with different segment values.

### Cap Segments

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_CSUB` · Range: [1..1000]

Defines the number of subdivisions of the cap in a radial direction. The subdivision along the cap's circumference is given by Rotation Segments.

### Height

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_HEIGHT` · Range: [0..+∞m]

The tube's length.

### Height Segments

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_HSUB` · Range: [1..1000]

The number of the tube's subdivisions in the Y direction.

### Orientation

Parameter ID: `PRIM_AXIS`

These options define the direction in which the object will "point". Using these options it is easier - and faster - to rotate the object (without rotating the object coordinate system as well).

### Fillet

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_FILLET`

To fillet (i.e. round) the object's edges, enable the Fillet option.

### Segments

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_FSUB` · Range: [1..1000]

Defines how fine the fillet appears. The more segments you specify, the smoother the fillet. To create a chamfer instead of a smooth fillet, set Segments to 1.

### Radius

Parameter ID: `PRIM_TUBE_FILLET_RADIUS` · Range: [0..+∞m]

The radius of the curvature.
