BSDF Add

Many material properties can be described using the Uber Surface node. However, it sometimes makes sense to calculate properties separately and combine them afterwards. The BSDF Add node, which combines two BSDF layers, can help you do this.

Other than with the Standard or Physical renderers’ Material Node, the ProRender material only allows one BSDF layer. To still be able to combine BSDF layers, this node has been made available. Alternatively to this, the BSDF Mix node also offers an option for layering several BSDF layers.
