This Field is a geometric Field and restricts/masks its effect using its conal shape (cylinders with hemispherically-shaped ends), which can be blended with other Fields and Modifier Layers in the respective Field lists (e.g., for Effectors or Deformers).

Note the handles with which the Field’s size can be adjusted interactively.
