Group Field

Group Field

The Group Field is a special Field for grouping Fields, Field Layers and Modifier Layers that can, for example, affect different elements (other Field lists, tags, etc.). These should be placed where normal Fields are placed: in the respective Field lists.

It is not important where a Field lies in the Object Manager but you have a better overview if, for example, individual Fields are made Child objects of the Group Field (in order to have them all in a single location and/or to move them all together).

In addition, layers that don’t exist as objects in the Object Manager, can be used in many other objects and tags.
