Get Nearest Point Operator

This node ascertains the shortest distance from any position to another position on a polygon object and outputs this position, the point index and more information.

This Expression always sets the start point of the red connective spline to the point position of a ring that lies nearest to the sphere (the spline end point always lies in the sphere).

Note: The node does not function with primitives. These need to be made editable.
