Magic Bullet Mojo II
Below are descriptors for each parameter within Mojo II:
My Footage Is: Applies a contrast curve to the footage to bring out its full tonal range. Shooting Flat or LOG footage stores important color information that is enhanced by the S curve, LUT, or built-in "My Footage Is" adjustments. If you’re using a camera that shoots in LOG C, use the LOG Pro for best results.
Presets: Automatically adjusts all Mojo parameters to one of Maxon’s integrated presets. These serve as great starting points to explore Mojo’s potential.
Mojo: Boosts the contrast, warms the highlights, and cools the shadows while preserving skin tones.
Mojo Tint : Adjusts the hue of the coloring done by the Mojo parameter. Positive values result in cooler colors (e.g., royal blue, teal, and emerald green) while negative values result in or warmer colors (e.g., crimson, yellow, and orange).
Punch It: Adjusts shadow contrast while preserving skin tones as best it can. Higher values push shadows further toward black while lower values result in brighter shadows.
Bleach It: Varies the overall color saturation. Higher values yield more bleach and less saturation. Negative values result in less bleach and higher saturation.
Fade It: Lifts brightness of the image’s black tones to give it a faded look.
Blue Squeeze: Compresses blue tones for more hue uniformity. This compression, or “squeezing,” allows for greater control of the overall color palette and pairs especially well with the Tint control.
Skin Squeeze: Compresses skin tones to be more uniform in hue. Often, skin tones are too varied in color, and sometimes people's skin can appear blotchy. Skin Squeeze compression reduces blotchiness and unifies uneven complexions, which helps flatten skin tones.
Vignette it : Adds a subtle vignette that mimics a real-world lens vignette.
Corrections
Exposure : Adjusts the overall image exposure.
Cool/Warm: Adjusts the overall image color temperature. Positive values make the image more orange and negative values make the image bluer.
Green/Magenta: Adjusts the overall tint of the image. Positive values make the image more magenta, and negative values make the image greener.
Skin Yellow/Pink: Makes corrections that target a range of skin hues. If the subject's skin is a bit too yellow or pink, this slider will make corrections without adjusting the overall image tint. Positive values make skin pinker while negative values make skin yellower.
Show Skin Overlay: Displays a grid over any part of the footage where the hue is in a correct range for skin tones. If a unified grid is shown across the subject's skin, the color grade is considered optimized. While the overlay will display in the preview, it will not appear in any final renders.
Strength: Controls the overall strength of the Mojo Tool.
